Home Teachers!

I am grateful for our awesome Home Teachers! Brother Berthelson reads our blog to keep up on the happenings of our family and he happened to come across a recent post titled "Hate is a strong word"- you know the one where Christian didn't eat his dinner and so he did not get any chocolate cake. Well, our wonderful Home Teacher decided to come over last night and give the boys an awesome lesson on obedience. He told Christian that he knew what happened last week with dinner and that he needed to do a better job of obeying his parents and that includes eating your dinner. So, he promised that if Christian (and the other boys) obeyed their parents today and ate ALL their dinner he would bring them CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES WITH FROSTING and SPRINKLES on them! This was a HUGE motivator for Christian! He obeyed very well today and ate ALL of his dinner (no, there were no potatoes involved). Below is a picture of Brother Berthelson sticking to what he said and bringing over the cupcakes! Thank you for being so awesome!

I think Colby liked the cupcakes!

I bet that cupcake really helped Colbys crusty nose. One more thing to stick to the boogers.
He looks really happy to have that cupcake though.

him?!? If only his wife read this blog and helped spread the joy :)
