Gratitude

I decided today that each day for the rest of the month I am going to do a quick post on something I am grateful for. These will be in no particular order, just random things that I think of that day. I am hoping this will get me out of the negative funk I am in- don't worry, I'm not laying around all depressed or anything...just need a little more positivity!

So, today I am grateful for this Country that we live in and for the freedoms that we enjoy- like voting! Did you all vote today? I did- well Dan dropped off our mail in ballots to a polling place. To go along with this I am grateful for the Men and Women who defend our country and freedoms, like Riley. If you would like to send Riley (my friend Cindy's son) a quick e-mail thanking him for his service (he is in Iraq right now) you can by clicking on his e-mail address: rileywinters08@yahoo.com

I am also grateful for this beautiful country and the blessing that I have to vote for the next president of the United States of America. I am also very grateful for all the solders who are and have served in the military who fight for our freedoms. Especially Riley!!

Good idea. Maybe one of your posts should be that you are grateful for me. And how the cancer has not taken my life.

Good idea! You have inspired me to to the same thing! There is so much to be grateful for, but all too often we forget that and focus on the negative! Thanks for the great insight!
