Congratulations Christian!

Last night Christian received his Wolf in Cub Scouts. Good job bud! Below he is putting the pin on my shirt.

Then, we had to drink wolf blood! GROSS! I tried to say that this is a "boy" thing so therefore only he and Dan should do it, but no, I had to also.

Christian got to pick his favorite cheer- the banana one where they get to go bananas at the end. Gotta love all the cub scout cheers!

Then it was time for the space derby! This started off a little rough...right before leaving home Christian was "playing" with his rocket. He decided he wanted to see if it would "fly" so he threw his rocket up in the air and guess what, it didn't fly! Instead it broke! This was as we were walking out the door to leave. So, in this picture he is in the middle of an "eye roll" and is not happy- he had a broken rocket and was mad that he was going to lose. I was kindly asking my dear husband to go help him fix the rocket once we got to the church but no, Dan said that he needed to figure it out since he was the one that broke it. Christian found some glue that a leader brought and fixed his rocket. He ended up winning two of the four races he was in (I know it is not about winning but to him it kind of is)! He ended up having a great time AND I think he learned a little something along the way- I guess thanks to Dan.

A happier Christian!

Good job, Christian! I'm impressed that you got your badge so far ahead of your birthday! It usually takes kids until right before their birthday before they finish. Great job!

I'm so glad that Christian got his rocket fixed and still won a couple of the races! And you bet it is important to boys at this age to win, well its kind of important to most everyone at any age, we all kind of want to win-don't we?
Also congratulations to Christian on getting his Wolf. Thats a big accomplishment! I'm sorry you had to drink the wolf blood-Yuck! (I had to do that also!)
Well enjoy those Pack Mtgs.:) We went to our last Pack Mtg. for our boys in August and now I gotta say I think I might miss those Pack Mtgs. Well on second thought maybe not, but enjoy them anyway because before you know it you won't go anymore.
