Summer catch up

Wow- this summer flew by! We had a great summer! We have so many pictures but I tried to narrow them down for this post. To start off our summer our awesome babysitter, one of my favorite Mia Maids and good friend, Arielle, got married to an awesome guy named Dan! We went to a super fun museum with a big group of crazy kids! The kids got lucky as we took them to our favorite (well, one of them) eating spots! We enjoyed A LOT of swimming! This summer I was privileged to teach 52 kids how to swim! LOTS of lake trips! Day trip to Prescott We enjoyed a stay in beautiful Sedona! We LOVED being with friends and hiking, rock slides, tree swing (Julia, u need to send me some pictures), jacuzzi, baseball, football games, playing pool and talent show but we did not enjoy coming home with the stomach flu! BFF's for sure! After ALL of the boys had a turn with the stomach flu, we went to CALIFORNIA! This was such a great vacation! LOVED spending time with so many cousins! We swam almost every day There is a fire pit in the corner of this picture and we roasted hot dogs, made smores and talked about what is important to us in our lives (thank you Grandma Marti for this special memory). We went to the beach twice! I boogie boarded the first day and showed the boys why I got 3rd in a boogie board competition when I was younger! The older boys loved boogie boarding and skim boarding. Colby enjoyed being buried in the sand with his cousins. Carter was in heaven on this trip with his PaPa, Grandma, the Neighs (horses) and dog! My sister Holly and my adorable nephew Grady came to hang out with us two of the days. I got to meet up with three of my High School friends for dinner. So fun! We went to Santa Barbara for the day and enjoyed the zoo, park and El Torrito there. One big highlight on this vacation was that I got to finally hold my adorable niece Chloe! Here are the "Neighs" and dog that Carter was obsessed with (and still is)! My camera was packed when we stopped to see my parents on our way home but the kids had a great time hanging out with them and going to the park to ride the skateboard down a big hill (over and over again)! We made light sabers after we got back to the heat! The boys had fun with these, especially jumping on the tramp (with the hose on of course) and fighting!
