I was getting ready for Dan's parents to come for a visit while the boys were outside (7:30pm). I look outside after I hear Cooper crying and see him on the ground with Christian trying to help him up. Normally Cooper would calm down after a minute (I was waiting for him to be calm before going out there). He didn't calm down and I knew he was hurt pretty bad. He was bleeding from him mouth, his cheek scraped up and he was holding his arm. Crap! I knew he broke his wrist. He is a tough kid and after an hour of crying he tried to tell me he was fine. That was until he put his arm down to try and get into bed and then he started crying again. He eventually feel asleep for about an hour or so and then he was up about every 40 min. after that. Every time he would move it would hurt and wake him up. Yes, I gave him Tylenol. No, I did not take him to the ER. With our insurance it is so expensive to go to the ER and have them do the XRay's, etc. So, we waited and went to Urgent Care first thing this morning. Let me go back- also last night Chase was up crying and holding a bowl to throw up until about 11:30pm. Apparently he was ok this morning with Dan and he went to school but after I got home from Urgent Care I got a call from the Nurse saying Chase was sick. I'm sure Dan's parents are so glad they came to visit!! Chase eventually threw up tonight before the missionaries came over for dinner! No, Chase did not join us for dinner- he has been locked in a room all day! I think I will have a breakdown if everyone starts throwing up again! Ok, back to the trampoline- I guess Christian had a cool idea to jump over the net that is partially down and see if he can land on the grass. (See Picture below). Christian was successful so Cooper had to try it. Cooper obviously was not successful and landed on the brick curbing that you can see in the picture below! Cooper broke his left wrist (he is left handed) and will go to the Orthopedic on Thursday. That Doctor will determine how long he will need a cast for, etc. Cooper is not happy about it- he said to me at Urgent Care "Mom, I cant play my Nintendo".
He hates the sling and will not wear it. I told him that Grandma Shauna wanted to see what it looked like and then he could take it off. He was happy about that!
Oh, and Christian has to be at the Dentist early in the morning because he chipped his tooth! I'm thinking my life lately is pretty good birth control for others :)
Side note: the trampoline net has been fixed so there will be no more boys attempting to jump over it anymore!
Happy side note: Last Saturday the boys had a football tournament that they ended up winning! They went around singing "We are the champions" for the rest of the day

Oh my heck!! You have seriously had a rough start for the week!!! If you need ANY help you KNOW I'm a phone call away!! DON'T HESITATE!! Also, tell Cooper I think he looks cute with the sling! :)
Oh my gosh, I am so sorry. Poor Cooper, that kid is sooo cute. I can't believe you got the stomach flu going on again! Hopefully it's just a fluke thing and nobody else gets it....you deserve a little R&R.

Poor Cooper! It looks like that hurts. I guess he might realize he can't do everything big brother can. I'm waiting for something like this to happen in our house. Sam sure thinks he can do anything. Tell Cooper, Eli says hi and he was very concerned about his wrist. Hope he has a speedy recovery.
Ahhh, little Coop. Always having to do what the big boys do. Poor guy. And tell Chase that there can be no more puking. Mommy just can't take any more! You need a vacation!
Thank you Cooper for letting your Mom take pictures of you !! :) Grandma Shauna misses you, and loves to see pictures of you . . . hurt or happy !! I sure hope everyone stays WELL . . Julianne - you need a break !! Is Chase better now ??

Oh Julianne, this all is not supposed to happen when your that pregnant, right!!! Poor Cooper, he is such a cute kid. I hope all get better real soon! You definetly deserve some R&R. You are supermom!

Oh what an awful start to the week and to top it off having your in-laws there and the missionaries for dinner. Whoo Whee!!! That's it all of this would do it for me! You need a big break!!!
