What to do????

So, we are having the ultrasound this Thursday. I have not been that excited, dont get me wrong, I am excited to "see" the baby but usually I am WAY more excited because we always find out, BUT this time we are supposedly NOT finding out. Well, Dan and I were talking about the ultrasound and out of the blue he says "lets find out". His reasoning is that he knows it is a boy, we cant agree on a girl name so lets find out it is a boy so we dont even have to worry about coming up with a girl name! Also he thinks we are going to "see" the boy part anyway. This whole time I have been supportive of not finding out, something Dan has always wanted to do! At this point what I THINK we might do is tell the technician that we dont want to find out and if Dan and I see the boy part well then that is fine. I think it will be fun to wait and plus I have already said that we are not finding out and if you know me, I STICK WITH WHAT I SAY, just ask my kids! Some of my friends think they are coming to the ultrasound........I'm thinking that is a BAD idea. I know what will happen and plus I need someone to watch Cooper and Colby! I told them they can come to the hospital when I have the baby- wouldn't you rather see the birth than an ultrasound!! HA HA HA! OK, I gotta run....we will see what happens on Thursday!

First of all, what do you mean you can't think of any girl names??? I think we've already settled on little Tara Julia Ash Bree Krista Cindy King. I'm not sure what you two are are stressing about? Oh, and I promise to let you have your own private viewing of the ultra sound, if what you're saying is that we ALL get to be there for the birth.

Wait a minute, you get c-sections...............................I think this is a trick! I'm going to need something in writing.

Tara- I do not have c-sections- I had A c-section and hope to not repeat it!

Yes, I LOVE that name- Dan is the one that has the problem with it!

You ALL can be there but I'm pretty sure most of you will be on vacation!

I think you should just go with the moment. You know if you get there and you guys are like man oh man we gotta know what it is than go for it or if you get there and your like this is cool we can wait than wait. But I couldn't probably wait even though I think it would be way cool to wait. Anyway, I will anxiously await to find out what you do.:)

Julianne,
From the first time I heard that you didn't want to find out I thought that was the worst idea ever and thought for sure it was Dan's.
When we all find out what it is at the ultrasound Thursday morn. @9:40 on greenway we will all be so excited. I will totally watch your kids during it also. I hope the waiting room has kid toys.

Since I am known as the grandma (ha ha) my advice, for what it's worth (ha ha). When we're all down there on Thursday if we happen to see body parts that let us know what gender the baby is then we just go with it!! I thought Dan agreed to naming the baby after Grandma Cindy, is that not true?????

Julia, just an FYI, my Doctors office does not have kid toys in the waiting room, seriously. Also, I will be dropping of Cooper and Colby to you at aerobics Thursday morning. Who ever watches my kids will get the FIRST phone call after the ultrasound!

Don't be a DORK! Modern medicine is here for a reason!!!! You are already expecting a boy, so what's the big deal? Also, if it is a girl, then you'll need the time to plan...and all of your fun girlfriends there will want to have a super out-of-this-world (no pressure!) girl shower for you, I'M SURE! Of course, we'll be waiting by the phone here, too!

Supposedly huh..okay that's a good sign. I really really want to know what baby king is:) Like I said, we have plenty of girl stuff if you need to borrow some and I'll need to get it washed and ready so you really need to find out!:)
